What is Peppermint?
The online software PEPPERMINT ACCOUNTING ledger is a cloud product.
No local installation, no investment in specific infrastructure.
PEPPERMINT can be used from any browser on PC, Mac or Linux. On a desktop computer, a smartphone or a tablet. You don’t need a local installation or Citrix type software.
PEPPERMINT is customizable according to your needs and has an audit log of detailed operations (users, dates, modifications).
PEPPERMINT is multi-user with group management and detailed permissions. It is multi-company, multi-language, multi-currency and multi-log. There is no limitation as to the number of accounts or entries, nor of journals or cash flows. Very easy to use, secure and intuitive, recognized for its reliability, its use is not reserved only for accountants. PEPPERMINT offers the possibility of extracting a backup of the data as well as an integrated module for archiving accounting documents.
PEPPERMINT is compatible with GIT SA accounting software, in particular WinEUR
( XML, PDF ) used by fiduciaries and banking institutions, foundations and associations, international organizations, but also by companies of all sizes for 40 years.
Powerful and graphic, PEPPERMINT relies on database standards as well as the latest graphic tools such as configurable widgets for its dashboard.

What are the main advantages of Peppermint?
State-of-the-art technologies (Web, SQL, Cloud, development methods and tools).

Many limits of WinEUR are pushed back (e.g. text and description lengths).
What about security?
100% of Peppermint uses the Microsoft Azure cloud.
Microsoft was chosen by GIT because it is “too big to fail”. Choice of servers guaranteed in Switzerland, with a 2nd server in Switzerland.
Authentication based on the latest technologies (including double authentication).
Applications are always up to date, and data backup is ensured by GIT.
Backup/Restore possible by the user without going through GIT support.
Is it easy to migrate a WinEUR GL accounting to Peppermint?
A few minutes, with an export triggered in WinEUR GL, then an import in Peppermint, including all archived accounting documents (Pdf).
What is the development schedule for the other Peppermint modules?
GIT has never committed so many resources to a project as it has to Peppermint. We are aware of the critical need for other Peppermint modules for most of our customers to switch over. The task is massive, but the challenge is met!
We are in the midst of developing the Analytics module, scheduled for the last quarter of 2021. The Third Party module will follow in stages, with a target of the first half of 2022 for the basic functionalities, i.e. those used by the majority of our customers.
As our customers migrate, we will be able to increase Peppermint’s resources and accelerate the development speed of other GIT modules and products.
